The D'Amelio Show

Parents need to know that The D'Amelio Show is a reality show about the day-to-day activities of teen Tik Tok influencers Charli and Dixie D'Amelio as they try to make the most of their fame while trying to live normal lives. Strong language includes words like "hell" and exclamations like "oh, Jesus," as well as discussion of "hos." There are open conversations about struggling with social anxiety as a result of the online criticism they receive as a result of their fame. The overall series does promote the family's brand, and there are lots of logos for brands like Prada, Vogue, Hollister, and others with whom the D'Amelios are partnering with.

This reality series offers a look at what it can be like to be catapulted into internet stardom, and the perks and pitfalls that come with it. Charli and her family are perplexed by the instant fame, but this hasn't stopped them from taking advantage of the potential lucrative financial and career opportunities it offers. Both she and Dixie, who is attempting to jump start a singing career online, enjoy things like meeting celebrities and participating in high-profile photo shoots. But their struggles with social anxiety, thanks to being unable to cope with the inevitable barrage of online criticism they receive, is a major theme in the show, and underscores the real harm that may be caused by the pressures associated with being (or trying to be) an internet celebrity.

Airing for 20 seasons. Keeping Up With The Kardashians have been providing us entertainment and a glimpse into the luxurious lifestyle of the Kardashians for two decades. It was a controversial show at the beginning. Some people questioned the privacy of the family, since everything they do and all the places they go to were obviously visible in the show. Kylie and Kendall were also minors when the show began, so it was also a question of ethics. Should an underage person be involved in a show that is not really age appropriate? Whatever the answer and the criticism was, the show remained one of the highest watched of all times. Even though the 20th season will be the last one, the fame will continue to grow for sure.

Hulu's eight-episode documentary-series The D'Amelio Show shows the busy life that Charli and Dixie D'Amelio lead in Los Angeles and also discusses what it's like being so well-known because of TikTok. The series also delves into the background and personal lives of the family, letting fans see more of Dixie and Charli's life along with learning some fun facts about their parents Marc and Heidi.

Charli D'Amelio has definitely become a brand and viewers of her reality show are able to see how packed her calendar is. Charli has a team, from Alexa the family assistant to Alison the intern and Greg the president and Kailey the social media manager.

We designed and animated the graphic elements used throughout the series including the show's logo. All of our toolkits are set up so the show can input a variety of visual elements to aid the story, such as social media comments and countdowns.

After that and over the past few months, the family has done well to avoid any new scandals, but in the years prior to the show, Charli and Dixie came under fire several times. They both lost hundreds of thousands of followers after a YouTube video posted in November 2020 appeared to show them being rude to their personal chef, Aaron May, and many deemed their behavior disrespectful.

On Twitter, one fan wrote: "Okay I don't follow the show so don't come for me if this is an incorrect take: but does anyone else think it's unfair for Charli D'Amelio to be on DWTS? Like I thought it was for celebrities who suck at dancing trying their best? And she was a competitive dancer #DWTS."
